to detect movement patterns and breathing sounds. By analyzing these
signals with our advanced algorithms, we can accurately determine
your sleep stages without requiring any additional hardware or
wearables.
White noise contains all frequencies at equal intensity, creating a
consistent "shushing" sound that's excellent for masking sudden
noises during light sleep. Pink noise has more power in lower
frequencies, creating a deeper, more balanced sound that research
shows can enhance deep sleep and improve memory consolidation.
We've optimized Optimiz to be extremely battery-efficient. On most
devices, you'll use about 15-20% battery over a full 8-hour sleep
session. We recommend plugging in your phone while using the app for
the best experience, but it will work fine unplugged if needed.
Absolutely. Your sleep data is stored locally on your device and is
never uploaded to our servers or shared with third parties. We
believe your health data belongs to you and you alone. Optional
cloud backup is available but completely opt-in.
Place your phone on your nightstand or bedside table, within about 3
feet (1 meter) of your pillow. Make sure the microphone isn't
blocked and the phone is on a stable surface. The app will calibrate
to your environment during the first few nights of use.

to the phone. For best results with a partner, place the phone on
your side of the bed. The soundwaves are gentle enough not to
disturb your partner but effective enough to enhance your sleep.
